Ronelle’s focus is on developing evidence based policy and programs within the public health, early years and community services sectors. She seeks to actively engage policy makers, researchers, practitioners and consumers in collectively developing policies and programs that reflect the best available evidence and the most feasible solutions for the end user. Prior to starting with Engage Consulting Australia, Ronelle conducted multiple national and state based projects in the general practice, nursing, primary health, child health and indigenous health care fields. She has experience working on Australian Government funded projects, Ministerial Council projects, Victorian state government based initiatives and for national non-government health organisations. Ronelle's recent work with Engage Consulting Australia has focused on evidence influenced public health policy development, planning and evaluation in a range of fields including municipal public health, Victorian Primary Care Partnerships, general practice, medication safety, heat related illness and death, Diabetes prevention, early childhood development and indigenous health. Ronelle has specialist skills in a range of qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation methods and is experienced across the range of public health policy development techniques. Ronelle holds a Doctor of Philosophy (in the discipline of Sociology), a Bachelor of Arts with Honors and a Masters Degree in Public Health. Ronelle is a member of the International Association of Public Participation.Ronelle is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner's Patient Feedback Advisory Committee. |
